River Arts is a 501 ( c ) organization that is supported by donations from the community. History of River Arts Located in Morrisville, River Arts serves the Lamoille County area and emerged from the Morristown Our Town community forum held in 1999. The mandate of the community at the forum was to create a multi-generational arts and cultural center that would present visual & performing arts programs for the community. On The Rise, a youth arts organization created in 2000, merged with River Arts in 2003 to create a single organization serving all ages. In 2005, we purchased the Lamoille Grange building and renovated it to create an arts center for everyone. Construction was completed in February, 2008, and programs began in March.
