The Mount Mansfield Winter Academy, also known as MMWA, offers a range of academic and enrichment programs. The academy enrolls more than 50 student-athletes in grades 8 through 12 from November through March. It has been serving students from New England since 1993. The academy provides opportunities for learning and playing winter sports, such as skiing and snowboarding. The Mount Mansfield Winter Academy works with Mount Mansfield Ski & Snowboard Club. The academy has a library and computer and science laboratories. It organizes training camps and administers scholarship programs. The Mount Mansfield Winter Academy operates community service programs, including Project Linus and Enviro Challenge.

Founded in 1829, the Craftsbury Academy is an educational institution that serves more than 140 students in grades 5 through 12. Its curriculum includes social studies, computer applications, math, language arts, physical education and general science. The academy has a cafeteria that serves a variety of food items and beverages. It maintains a library that stocks books and reference materials. The academy manages a staff of teachers and support personnel. The Craftsbury Academy is a part of Craftsbury Schools, which is a school system. Craftsbury Schools serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. The Craftsbury Academy is located in Craftsbury Common, Vt.
