He completed his internship and residency at University of Virginia Health Science Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, and completed his Cardiologys fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Methodist Debakey Heart Center in Houston, Texas. He practiced with South Texas Cardiovascular Consultants for four years before joining Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio in 2010. Dr. Tontiplaphol is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of a number of other professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association.
