Donald A Molony , MD

Christi L. Blakkolb, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Her expertise includes general surgery, cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction, breast augmentation, breast reduction, body contouring, post-bariatric body contouring, abdominoplasty, abdominal wall reconstruction, cosmetic injectables, cancer reconstruction, and amputation reconstruction/targeted muscle reinnervation (TMR). She’s an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She’s also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Blakkolb is a member of local, regional, and national professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Association of Women Surgeons, and Women in Plastic Surgery. She was named one of Houstonia Magazine’s Top Doctors for plastic and reconstructive surgery in 2016, 2017, and 2021.

Klara Sputova, MD, MPH, is a plastic surgeon with expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Her areas of focus are breast cancer reconstruction, restoring the shape and appearance of the breast after a mastectomy, and other breast-related surgeries. Sputova is also skilled in microvascular autologous breast reconstruction. She also provides services including but not limited to autologous tissue reconstruction (flap procedures), implant-based reconstruction (silicone and saline implants), oncoplastic reconstruction, combination (hybrid) procedures, as well as nipple and areola reconstruction. In her free time, Sputova enjoys travel, water sports, and going on adventures with her sweet yet high-energy dog, Bella.

Annie M. Wang, MD, is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon specializing in breast cancer reconstruction and lymphedema. In addition to the full spectrum of techniques for breast reconstruction, she’s trained in microvascular autologous breast reconstruction, where the patient’s own tissue is used to restore a breast. She is also an expert in lymphedema and has specific expertise in reconstructive lymphatic microsurgery and supermicrosurgery. Wang is an assistant professor in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Wang pursued her medical education at the prestigious University of Toronto, where she not only earned her medical degree but also completed a Master of Science in system leadership and innovation at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME). This dual focus gave her a deep understanding of clinical practice and health system management, equipping her with a unique perspective on improving patient care and surgical outcomes. Following medical school, Wang completed her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Toronto, where she further refined her surgical skills in reconstructive and aesthetic procedures and was known for her commitment to excellence and dedication to advancing patient care. To build on her expertise, Wang pursued a fellowship in microvascular reconstruction and microsurgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, a premier institution for cancer treatment and research. During her fellowship, she focused on her two passions, breast reconstruction and lymphedema surgery. Outside of work, her greatest joy is her family. She enjoys painting, cooking, traveling, and trying new restaurants in Houston with a Canadian flair on the menu.
