Joshua James Larson, M.D., is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician at Box Elder Clinic. Dr. Larson completed his family medicine training at Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2021 after earning a Doctor of Medicine from University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in 2018. Before medical school, Dr Larson earned a B.S. in biotechnology and M.S. in Biology from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Prior to joining Monument Health, Dr. Larson practiced as an Active Duty Air Force Physician at Ellsworth Air Force Base, where he achieved the rank of Major and served as the Medical Director of the Deperdent and Retiree Clinic and Flight Commander of the Primary Care Flight of the 28th Healthcare Operations Squadron. Dr. Larson has also been stationed with the 39th Medical Group at Incirlik Air Force Base in Türkiye, where he was a staff physician and medical director of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course. Dr. Larson enjoys participating in medical education, training future generations of physicians. He was awarded the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine in 2021 and has mentored over 20 premedical students. Dr. Larson also seeks out volunteer opportunities in medicine and has previously volunteered in free clinics in Grand Island, NE; Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; and Falmouth, Jamaica. Dr. Larson’s hobbies include competing in disc dog competitions with his Border Collies, Finkelstein and Cody and exploring the Black Hills with his wife, Amanda.

​​Stormy Roy, M,D., is a Family Medicine Physician at Box Elder Clinic. Dr. Roy received Residency Training at Rapid City Hospital Family Medicine Residency. Previously, Dr. Roy acquired a Doctor of Medicine from University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine and a B.S. in Chemistry from Chadron State College in Nebraska. For hobbies, Dr. Roy enjoys a vast variety of sports for the physical activity and competition provided. He also likes reading history and fantasy, playing video games, hiking and fishing and maintaining relationships with family and friends.
