Dr. Zuhair Khan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and a board-certified physiatrist with advanced fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NYU Langone’s Rusk Rehabilitation, where he contributed extensively to medical education in anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine. During residency, he also trained in acupuncture at SUNY Downstate and became a licensed acupuncturist. Dr. Khan then completed fellowship training in Interventional Spine at Emory University.A native New Yorker, Dr. Khan values connecting with patients across cultures and is fluent in Urdu and Hindi. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR) and the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS).

His work has been presented at multiple national and international meetings and been published in journals such as Spine, Journal of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurophysiology, and Journal of Neuroscience. He has been nominated for and won multiple awards at meetings such as the Scoliosis Research Society Annual Meeting and the Annual Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. His work has been featured in the Journal of Neurosurgery Spine, Spine Deformity, Spinal News and Orthopedics Today.
