Dr. Geraldino's areas of clinical and research interest include Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (Lupus), Rheumatoid Arthritis, and musculoskeletal ultrasonography. She has been the Director of the Lupus Clinic at CUMC since 2010 and has been awarded a Rheumatology Scientist Development Award from the Rheumatology Research Foundation to study Cardiovascular Disease in lupus patients. Her prior research experience as the recipient of CTSA and NIH supplement awards, focused on the role of specific anti-citrullinated peptide antibodies (ACPAs) in cardiovascular disease in RA using different cardiac imaging methods.Dr. Geraldino graduated summa cum laude from INTEC University in the Dominican Republic and afterwards moved to New York to complete an internal medicine residency in SUNY Upstate, followed by a rheumatology fellowship at Columbia University where she stayed on as a faculty member. In addition to being a board certified rheumatologist, she completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal ultrasonography with the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) and serves as the director of the Fast Arthritis Sonographic evaluation and Treatment (FAST) clinic at CUMC.

Dr. Goldwaser’s research spans multiple specialties which include: concussion management, prevention and recovery, biologic injections in injury recovery, and exploring healing rates after ultrasound-guided procedural interventions. When time allows, he enjoys running marathons, traveling, and playing Scrabble with his family.

Andrew Stephen Bomback, MD

Dr. Stephen Reis is a board-certified radiologist with specialization in vascular and interventional radiology. He is an assistant professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an assistant attending radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.Dr. Reis' clinical practice focuses on the minimally invasive treatment of tumors of the kidney, liver, and lung as well as metastatic tumors of the liver and lung, using percutaneous (through the skin) ablation and embolization. He is an expert in all interventional aspects of cancer diagnosis and treatment from percutaneous biopsy to vascular access placement. In addition to cancer therapy, Dr. Reis brings expertise in the treatment of pelvic pain related to fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome. He also works in conjunction with urologists in the treatment of male infertility and urinary obstruction. The management of lower extremity venous insufficiency and maintenance of dialysis access rounds out his practice.Dr Reis is known in the region as an expert in selective venous sampling. He works closely with the physicians at Columbia's Adrenal Center in the diagnosis of primary hyperaldosteronism.Dr. Reis completed his medical school training at New York Medical College and his internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan.
