Dr. Lynn McGrath is an award-winning neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He is trained in both traditional open as well as cutting-edge minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgical techniques. He is committed to utilizing this wide range of capabilities to tailor an approach uniquely suited to each patient. In addition, Dr. McGrath is internationally renowned as an innovator working to develop diagnostic tools using artificial intelligence, work for which he was named the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Innovator of the Year in 2019. An acclaimed speaker and educator, Dr. McGrath has given more than 30 invited lectures around the world about advanced minimally invasive spine surgery techniques, neurosurgical applications of machine learning, and cutting-edge diagnostic methods for concussion and traumatic brain injury.TRAININGDr. McGrath received his BA from Dartmouth College and his MD from the University of Central Florida. He then completed his residency in neurological surgery at the University of Washington, followed by a fellowship in which he trained in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery under Dr. Roger Hrtl at Weill Cornell Medicine.RESEARCHDr. McGraths research is focused on the development of next-generation smartphone-based machine learning tools for the diagnosis of concussion, TBI, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimers disease. His work in pupillometry led to the development of PupilScreen which in 2017 was named one of GEs 5 Coolest Things on Earth This Week. He has been named Innovator of the Year twice in 2019 by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and in 2018 by Seattle Health. In 2017 he won the Best Presentation Award from the Washington State Association of Neurological Surgery. Dr. McGrath is also actively working on developing and publishing on the adoption and utilization of cutting-edge endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgical techniques for complex patients, high performance individuals, and athletes.

Dr. Jennel Alexis Zeppieri is a board-certified medical oncologist and internist with a clinical focus on hereditary cancer syndromes, early detection, and cancer risk reduction. She completed both her fellowship in Hematology/Oncologywhere she served as chief fellowand her internal medicine residencyalso as chief residentat Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health.Dr. Zeppieris professional mission is deeply rooted in personal experience. Her mothers diagnosis with BRCA-related pancreatic cancer sparked her passion for advancing care for individuals at high risk for cancer. This journey informs her commitment to compassionate, personalized care and her focus on increasing awareness of underrecognized hereditary cancer syndromes.Through her training and practice in diverse communities, Dr. Zeppieri has developed a nuanced understanding of how cultural values and individual preferences shape medical decision-making. She is committed to ensuring equitable access to preventive oncology care and advocates for strategies that integrate patient education, early detection, and multidisciplinary support.An active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, Dr. Zeppieri also serves on the executive board of the Student Movement Against Cancer. Lana Nirenstein, MD, is a pediatric orthopedist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. She provides care to children from birth to adolescence with musculoskeletal conditions, including growth-related problems, spinal deformity, injury and fractures and congenital and hereditary disorders.Dr. Nirenstein is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the Brooklyn Orthopedic Society and has presented and published clinical research on the top of spinal deformity. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Nirenstein served her completed her internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in orthopedics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
