Yelenis Seijo De Armas, M.D., is a cardiologist at Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. She diagnoses, treats and manages a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. Her clinical interests include the optimization of cardiovascular health in women and pregnant women. Dr. Seijo De Armas earned her medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami. She completed an internal medicine residency as well as a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Fla. During her clinical training, Dr. Seijo De Armas published her work in scientific journals, presented at medical conferences, served on committees and taught medical students. She contributes to the medical community as a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians. To provide compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Seijo De Armas takes time to get to know her patients and their unique needs and preferences. Sergio Tierrablanca, D.O., is a family medicine physician at Baptist Health and is fluent in English and Spanish. Before joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Tierrablanca completed his family medicine residency at Broward Health Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020.Dr. Tierrablanca seeks to help future physicians as he teaches physical exam skills to Nova Southeastern University Medical students. He is also a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. As a family medicine physician, he seeks to establish long-term partnerships with families in the Miami area, helping them achieve their health and well-being goals. In his free time, Dr. Tierrablanca likes spending time with loved ones, staying up to date and attending medical conferences/lectures, playing and watching sports, watching movies at the movie theater, trying new restaurants and learning new activities such as dancing.
