Neil Nagovski, M.D., FACP, is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute. He specializes in the treatment of malignant hematologic disorders, such as leukemias, lymphomas, plasma cell neoplasms, myeloproliferative disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes, as well as benign hematologic disorders. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Nagovski was a hematologist-oncologist at Holy Cross Health – Michael & Dianne Bienes Comprehensive Cancer Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Dr. Nagovski earned his medical degree at First Tashkent State Medical Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University in Bronx, N.Y. His post-doctoral training also includes a hematology-oncology fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester, Wilmot Cancer Institute. Dr. Nagovski is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and member of numerous professional organizations. He has participated in research on hematologic malignancies and lectured at national medical conferences. For five years, he served as a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Board of Trustees, Southern Florida Chapter. Dr. Nagovski strives to make a difference in the community and in the lives of his patients and families. He finds it extremely rewarding to build relationships with his patients and their loved ones and be part of their journey toward healing and survivorship. Dr. Nagovski is fluent in English and Russian. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

He has authored multiple scientific abstracts, manuscripts and book chapters on various topics in urologic oncology. Through his research, he strives to identify new diagnostic and treatment options for genitourinary cancers, improve patient recovery after surgery and enhance his patients’ quality of life.Understanding that he often meets patients during significantly stressful moments, Dr. Ozambela takes time to talk through diagnoses and treatment options. Through excellent communication and shared decision-making, he works with his patients to create treatment plans that reflect their individual goals. Dr. Ozambela is a South Florida native and enjoys spending time with his growing family when not taking care of patients.

Giovanni Paraliticci, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in oncology, adult hip and knee replacements, and sarcoma and connective tissue surgical oncology for Baptist Health Orthopedic Care and Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Committed to improving the lives of people battling cancer, Dr. Paraliticci provides surgical care for a range of oncology-related concerns. He surgically treats musculoskeletal tumors, including benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors along with metastatic lesions. He also treats fractures, arthritis, avascular necrosis (bone tissue death) and osteoporosis (weak bones). Using advanced technology such as robotic surgery and 3D prosthetic modeling, he performs total and partial knee and hip replacements. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Paraliticci finished his first fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital before completing his adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship at Baptist Health. After earning his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, Dr. Paraliticci completed both his general surgery residency and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Puerto Rico. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Paraliticci is a faculty member for Baptist Health Orthopedic Care’s Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction Fellowship program. He enjoys giving back to his community by educating the next generation of orthopedic fellows. After deciding in sixth grade that he wanted to be a surgeon, Dr. Paraliticci dedicated his life to helping people.
