Jean-Pierre Obeid, M.D, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute. He specializes in the treatment of cancer using advanced radiation therapies. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Obeid was a radiation oncologist at Cleveland Clinic, Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Fla. Dr. Obeid earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass., and a radiation oncology residency at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. Dr. Obeid is a member of several professional organizations. He has conducted research on the efficacy of radiation therapies and published his work in peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Obeid points out that cancer occupies only a portion of a patient's overall health status. He combines cutting-edge cancer treatments with a holistic approach to provide patients with effective and compassionate therapy. Dr. Obeid is fluent in English and Arabic. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys playing basketball, fishing and tinkering with electronics.
