The Housing Division is a part of the Department of Community Development of the city of Miami. It offers a variety of housing programs to low- and moderate-income residents. The division assists in purchasing and renting housing units throughout the city. It manages various home investment programs that offer loans and grants to homebuyers, homeowners and developers for the purchase, rehabilitation and construction of housing units. The division provides various housing programs for first-time homebuyers. It also offers a range of single family and rehabilitation programs for homeowners. The division s multi-family affordable rental housing program provides federal, state, and local funding to private developers. The Housing Division is based in Miami.
