Her interest in midwifery was ignited by the skilled and compassionate care she received by a midwife during her first pregnancy over three decades ago. Ms. Roberts was so inspired, she went on to study midwifery and graduated from UCSF in 1997. Ms. Roberts has had an extensive midwifery career working in academic and community health settings. Ms. Roberts has served as faculty at UCSF, lead midwife for a community health center, supervisor of ob/gyn residents at Kaiser, and CNM hospitalist for Sutter.
