At under an hour and a half's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, it's the perfect getaway spot for the wild Cairngorms National Park, the 'Big Tree Country' of Perthshire, nearby Angus, or just to spend time away from the everyday. Take the highest public road through stunning scenery to Braemar, Ballater, Balmoral and Tomintoul. Explore munros, glens, forests, lochs and nature reserves. Visit Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, Dundee and Perth. You’ll also be two minutes from championship golf at Blairgowrie Golf Club. Heathpark House is dog-friendly, and you have the choice of bed and breakfast in the house or self-catering in the Gardener's annex.
