Awarded Visit Scotland, quality assured 4 stars. Dupplin152 is based in the west end of Dundee, having been a doctors surgery since 1877. It has been renovated and cared for by us, Fiona and Bryan since 1997. It has been a bed and breakfast since 2017. We offer our guests two comfortable en suite rooms. King, or superking with high quality bedding, feather duvets and pillows. ( changeable) Smart TV, USB ports, blackout curtains, Complimentary fresh and instant coffee and a choice of teas, local bottled water and a flask of fresh milk. In your en-suite, there are bath sheets, complimentary toiletries and shower caps. We designed the King and Super king ensuite rooms the way we would like to find them. So the beds are superb quality, as is the bed linen, carpets and drapes. The complimentary room and toilet items are plentiful and for more choice, you can help yourself to espresso, more teas and fresh fruit in the dining room. The property retains its Victorian charm, with understated decor. The rooms are light and airy. Original features sit alongside antiques and miscellaneous paraphernalia found at French antique markets, so a little shabby chic turns up here and there. The dining room is a traditional Scots. The solid, wooden table seats four, with comfortable antique French and Scottish carver chairs to relax in while enjoying your breakfast. We offer plenty of continental choices and warm pastries to ward off the hunger pangs until your hot food arrives. Fresh coffee, excellent chocolate and a selection of teas can also be “to go” when you leave us, along with any pastries you didn’t have room for. pop them in a napkin and we’ll find you a paper bag. The armchair, Smart TV and original Victorian fireplace all add to the relaxed atmosphere, especially when the fire’s lit on dull winter mornings. The dining room is available to our guests to enjoy during their stay. Fiona is our Chef. She will be cooking your breakfast. Bryan is front of house and enjoys looking after our guests. To the left of the front door is a seating area in the garden, where you can relax with a coffee, or enjoy your breakfast al fresco. The garden is yours to enjoy.
