The Information Technology Department is a part of Laramie County in Wyoming. The department provides networking, programming and analysis services. It purchases and maintains software and computers, as well as offers application training to the county s departments. The Information Technology Department is comprised of more than five teams. Its programming team designs and maintains in-house systems, as well as makes recommendations to other departments for purchasing third-party software. The Information Technology Department has a communications team that is responsible for the procurement and management of several types of software and products for the county s buildings. The team also organizes electronic security systems of the county s courthouse and other facilities.
