Trantow Do-It Center has been servicing the Merrill area since 1897. For the past 27 years the business has been owned by Kent Johnson. Kent represents the fouth generation of family ownership. The business moved from its former East Main Street location into a brand new building at 101 S Pine Ridge Avenue in 1990 and currently employs 30 people. Trantow Do-It Center offers product delivery, drafting and designing services, on the job measuring and expert advice. It is a complete home center offering hardware, paint, power tools, a complete lumberyard, windows, doors, cabinetry, flooring and equipment and tool rental.
