Tommy O's Playhouse

Tommy O's Playhouse is one of only a handful of revolving repertory theaters left in the country. Under new ownership, Tommy O is working very hard to restore the theater to it heyday of the 1970's with lots of exciting renovations underway. Now a non-profit organization, additional focus is on education and community involvement and charity. The theater is open from mid-June through September and draws a company of professional actors from around the country. The schedule includes matinees on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and evening performances Wed-Sat June through July, with additional evening shows on Mondays & Tuesdays in August. Several different shows can be see each week throughout the summer, plus one late-season play. After Labor Day join in the fun of a four-day Renaissance Festival. The Tommy O's Northwoods RenFest has many entertainers, performers, great music, a village encampment. Merchants offer old time wares and there is fabulous food and drink.
