Steven Kempton is fellowship trained in hand and microsurgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI and earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. Dr. Kempton completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics-Madison. He went on to complete his fellowship training in hand and microsurgery at the University of California-Los Angeles. Dr. Kempton's practice is focused on hand and upper extremity care to include carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome, fractures, Dupuytren's disease, tendonitis, trigger finger, congenital differences, and wrist, thumb, and hand arthritis. He is also skilled in performing lower extremity reconstruction and microsurgery. When he is not working, Dr. Kempton enjoys spending time with his wife and child, cross country motorcycling, and snowboarding. As a family, they enjoy traveling with a favorite being Italy because of the food and historical significance. They also like national parks especially Zion National Park. Their favorites have been seeing the Hubbard Glacier calving in Alaska, which they reported as awesome, and experiencing the amazing rain forest in Costa Rica.
