Calvary Baptist Christian School, which was founded in the fall of 1970, is a private elementary school for Kindergarten through Eighth grade. We offer excellent educational opportunities to the members of Calvary Baptist Church and to other families from the surrounding communities. Each grade level is self-contained and taught by a qualified, dedicated teacher that has been called to this ministry. Our mission is to come alongside the parents and help them give their children a quality Christian education; and our vision is to provide an excellent educational and Scriptural foundation for a lifetime.

Established in 1877, Immanuel Lutheran School is a coeducational institution that offers a range of learning and extracurricular opportunities for students. It serves the children of more than 30 churches in the Freeport area in Illinois. The school serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Immanuel Lutheran School s academic curriculum includes math, science, music, physical education and language arts. The school administers the Title I program. It provides opportunities for students to participate in gymnastics. Immanuel Lutheran School has a library that offers a variety of educational resources and materials. It additionally organizes geography bee competitions. The school is a ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
