I believe each person is a wonderful creation of an integrated body, mind, soul and society. For this reason, I take a whole-person approach to diagnose and treat disease. It requires exploring how disease affects each dimension of a person’s life, listening to the patient’s concerns, then developing an individual care plan. I was called to medicine since before I can remember. Some of my earliest memories were of me telling my parents that I was going to be a physician. As I entered medical school, family medicine stood out among the specialties. I chose it because of its commitment to care for the whole person and serve the larger community. The best part of my job is the relationship that forms with each patient as we walk together on their journey toward better health and wellbeing.
