River Valley Elementary

Arena Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of the River Valley School District, which operates more than five elementary, middle and high schools with a combined enrollment of over 1,400 students. Located in Arena, Wis., it has a population of nearly 100 students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The school maintains a parent-teacher organization that sponsors a variety of assemblies and fieldtrips, as well as supports classroom budget requirements. Arena Elementary School conducts educational classes in a variety of subjects, such as language arts, math, social studies, science, English, computer applications, art, music, and health and physical education.

River Valley School District, located in Spring Green, Wis., provides elementary, middle and high school academic and technology education and enrolls more than 1,500 students. It is a consolidated school district and operates four prekindergarten through grade five elementary schools, and a grades six through eight middle school. It also operates a grades nine through 12 high school. The district s middle and high schools curricula include English, foreign languages, history, math, science and social studies and technology education. It also provides courses in agriscience, business education and physical, wellness and special education. River Valley School District offers various extracurricular activities, such as art and chess clubs, math and Spanish clubs, band and madrigal dinner. The district s schools also have libraries providing literary sources, magazines and newspapers and Internet search tools. The middle and high schools provide various sports activities, including basketball, football, cross country and wrestling.
