Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin

The Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, originally from upstate New York, established their reservation in Wisconsin in 1838 and has since maintained a strong community of over 17,000 citizens worldwide. Governed by the Oneida Constitution adopted in 1936, the Tribe's government includes the General Tribal Council, the Oneida Business Committee, and judicial and regulatory bodies that ensure the welfare and progress of its members.
