On January 1, 2001 Central Wisconsin Credit Union came into existence as the result of a merger between Consolidated Community Credit Union and Wisconsin River Credit Union. While the name, location and look of the credit union is relatively new, CWCU is endowed by a rich heritage, combining over 125 years of proudly serving the communities of Stevens Point, Whiting, and Plover, and the employees and immediate family members of New Page, Inc Since the merger, we have expanded our charter, which now includes all who live or work in Portage, Wood, Waupaca, and Marathon counties. As a result of our growth over the years, we have increased our products, improved our services, and even expanded our locations, without losing track of what's most important to us - YOU THE CUSTOMER!
