Camp Jorn YMCA

Operational since 1953, Camp Jorn is a recreational facility that is located on a more than 65-acre peninsula in the Northern Highland State Forest. It offers various activities, such as tubing, sailing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, ice cream runs and cabin competitions. The camp also provides archery, air riflery, swimming, waterskiing, and arts and crafts classes. Its sports activities include basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball and tetherball. Camp Jorn offers creative arts programs, such as photography, drawing and poetry. The camp organizes adventure trips that include white water rafting, pathfinder backpacking and mountain biking. In addition, it hosts family outings, wedding ceremonies, group retreats and community gatherings. Camp Jorn provides care services for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. It is an independent YMCA camp and is accredited by the American Camping Association.
