My approach to patient care involves attentive listening to their concerns. This helps me create an orthopedic care plan that aligns with their expectations and comfort level to achieve the best results. I enjoy working in an orthopedic walk-in clinic setting because it is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where I treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. I have a passion for helping people and take pride in being approachable, down-to-earth and detail-orientated. I have 10 years of experience working in the emergency department, providing high-quality care under pressure. Born in Russia, I moved to America with my mother at 9 years old. This transition gave me a unique perspective that has shaped my approach to patient care.

I support and guide patients through recovery, equipping them with the necessary resources to regain their regular activities. My goal is to empower patients with the tools for lasting health and peak performance. Working in orthopedics allows me to help patients stay active and achieve their performance goals. I am passionate about treating the whole person and empowering them to return to the activities they love. I was drawn to sports medicine as a nurse practitioner because of the opportunity to make a direct impact on patients' lives through injury treatment, prevention, rehabilitation and pain management. I enjoy working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that demands critical thinking and hands-on skills to address a wide range of conditions.

I believe that physical movement is essential to well-being, and I work with patients at all levels of activity. I listen carefully, ask meaningful questions and perform thorough physical exams of my patients to fully understand their musculoskeletal issues. I enjoy working in sports medicine because it allows me to contribute to my patients' short- and long-term health successes, providing relief through injections and seeing improvements after physical therapy and home exercise programs. I admire their dedication to returning to sports and hobbies, and I look forward to helping them achieve their goals. My passion for sports and my medical expertise inspired me to pursue a career in sports medicine. My experiences as both an athlete and a physician provide valuable insights into sports injuries and safe return-to-play practices. I completed my sports medicine fellowship at Indiana University, where I had the opportunity to work with athletes at various levels, including NCAA Division I and the Olympic level.
