She joined the United States Army Reserves and it was through her military service that she discovered a passion for dentistry, beginning her journey as a trained dental assistant. After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, she began practicing general dentistry in Beckley, West Virginia. Her nearly two decades of experience in both military and clinical dentistry underscore her dedication to service, leadership, and patient-centered care.
