Jefferson County Board of Education

Located in Charles Town, W.Va., Jefferson County Schools provides an educational program for students in grades kindergarten through 12. The district has several elementary, middle and high schools and provides a curriculum comprised of reading, writing, vocabulary, spelling, English, mathematics, science, social studies, computer application, technology, foreign language, and business and agricultural studies. The district provides educational services in the areas of administration, technology, finance, adult education, food service, maintenance, health and nutrition, transportation, human resource, and facilities and operation management. It offers several recreational activities, including music shows, scholar s bows, club events, prom and homecoming celebrations, college fairs and spring plays.
