We stopped here on a road trip. Had an amazing lunch (cheesesteak and chicken sandwich) and had we not had a few hours more to drive would have indulged in a cocktail from their excellent bar....

The Fairplain Yacht Club provides a unique dining experience. Located in the country but still, just off the interstate. At FYC we have something for everyone. Come in and try a delicious appetizer and one of our local draft beers before settling in on one of our dinner entrees. We love Fairplain Yacht Club! Every time we go we start with the hot cheese balls, which never disappoint. Wife got the bacon cheddar burger - she LOVES their burgers. Definitely award winning...

Probably the best burger in West Virginia. I always get the name wrong and say "Fairmont Yacht Club" which would be a lot further away!! Anyway, they have amazing food here and really unique...

Stopped in while passing through on our way to Ohio. Outstanding burgers and beer selection! Service was fast and friendly.

Food, service are great. The ambiance is nice bc the dining room is large, so there is plenty of space between tables for large parties and privacy.
