Established in 1932, Capon Springs & Farms is a full-service resort that offers a variety of recreational options to its guests. Located at the famous Capon Springs in Hampshire County, W.Va., it is spread over more than 4,700 acres. The resort offers a variety of cottages, rooms and log cabins. Its guests have access to various recreational activities, including tennis, swimming, hiking, volleyball, badminton and fishing. The resort organizes fishing contests and supplies rowboats, life jackets, bamboo fishing poles and bait. It has a special activity schedule for children. Its restaurant provides a variety of dining options to guests. It also provides banquet and catering services for parties and formal and informal gatherings. The resort is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
