Food Bank Operations The Food Bank has a board of directors and is registered with the State of Washington and the federal government as a non-profit corporation. The executive director is Neil Watkins. There are approximately 70 volunteers who donate their time working at the food bank and picking up food seven days a week. Volunteers are the "Heart" of our program! Donations are made by individuals, churches, clubs, groups, schools, businesses, etc. Many advocates will have special food and/or fund drives or special events to benefit the food bank. At Christmas the Precious Packages program provides new donated toys, gloves, hats, etc., to children in need. In August the food bank gives out donated school supplies and backpacks to under privileged children.
