Stratton Surveying & Mapping has been family owned in the Tri-Cities since the early 80's. Bob and Peggy Stratton worked hard to establish relationships with the contractors and the community alike. As the years passed and the company grew larger and more successful, they began to look for a new 'Bob & Peggy' that would enable them to retire and spend more time travelling. In June of 2004, through a rather round about way, Aaron Dyck, a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Washington was looking to relocate his family from the Spokane area. He and his wife Becki met with Bob and Peggy and instantly the foursome were drawn to one another, like family. Aaron and Becki purchased Stratton Surveying & Mapping in 2008, with the intention of continuing the relationships Bob and Peggy created, as well as establishing new relationships within the community. We, at Stratton welcome a challenge. We view each client as not just a job, but a relationship. We use the most up to date equipment to insure that our level of accuracy is unsurpassed. Established in 1978, White Shield is an American-owned consulting company that serves clients in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. It also conducts projects in Alaska, California, Nevada and Arizona. The company specializes in the design and construction of various projects throughout the Pacific Northwest region. It offers land parcel delineation, topographic mapping, hazard mitigation, groundwater well installation and environmental monitoring services. White Shield also provides industrial hygiene monitoring, aerial control mapping, and litigation and permit support services. It also conducts lead-based paint surveys. The company serves the government, transportation, utility, communications, energy, commercial, and banking and insurance industries. It employs a work force of more than 65 people. White Shield s projects include the Federalm Highway Administration and Hanford Reach National Monument.
