The Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group (HCSEG) is dedicated to enhancing the abundance of wild salmon in the Pacific Northwest through research, restoration, and education. Located next to the Union River estuary in Belfair, WA, the Salmon Center features a certified organic garden and a variety of farm animals to demonstrate the coexistence of salmon, humans, and agriculture.

Since 1990, HCSEG has engaged in numerous habitat restoration projects across the Hood Canal Watershed, benefiting not only local salmon populations but also the region's ecological diversity. Their educational programs support students, teachers, and lifelong learners, deepening the connection between the land, people, and salmon.
