History
I am an attorney who wanted to be a teacher. (I am a graduate of the University of Washington Law School, l973-l976; and I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College 1970). I graduated from Antioch/Seattle and earned a MA in Education, with emphasis on reading comprehension, fluency, and speed. Over the years, I taught English, European History, Law and Society, and American Government. My students learned to write essays about literature and issues. Retiring in 20l0, I began this tutoring business in 20ll. I am excellent at teaching reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and application of rules of writing.
