Harney Elementary School provides a learning environment to promote academic and social skills of more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers a variety of academic courses, including reading, math, writing, art, music and physical education. The school also provides special education, migrant, accelerated reader, transitional bilingual and reduced-price meal programs. It develops monthly activity packets that can be used by parents for conducting activities with their children in the preschool. These packets contain activities that are designed to develop school readiness and support a positive transition to kindergarten. In addition, the school s media center stocks several reading and reference materials and provides an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. I know nothing about this cool. We went there to walk the grounds because we couldn't go anywhere. It seems nice from the outside. The park seemed well cared for and the grounds we're clean. There...
