The Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) Cemetery in Snohomish, Washington, owned by the Earl Winehart Post #96 American Legion, is the area's largest public memorial park, providing a historic burial ground since its establishment in 1898. peaceful, indeed. and beautiful even in the ever present rain. gorgeous headstones, both old and new...altho the weird plastic stars-on-sticks at every grave in the child section were a bit odd....
