"Dr. Montgomery is a native of the greater Seattle area: she was born and raised in Issaquah and went to Whitman College for her undergraduate studies. She decided to pursue a medical degree after a family member was diagnosed with cancer. She received her medical education at the University of Washington and was drawn early on to medical oncology as a subspecialty.
