Deborah Marie Martin, MD

I treat patients for vascular and general neurology conditions. I came to medicine after a career in speech language pathology and completed all my training at UW, including a residency in Neurology and fellowships in Clinical Research and Vascular Neurology (stroke). I worked as a neurohospitalist for several years at Harborview.

Every patient has a unique life story to share, about the challenges they have faced and the dreams they have for the future. For me, the opportunity to listen to these stories is a tremendous gift. By understanding each patient's personal story, I believe we can work together as a team to incorporate values and beliefs into how they approach their health.

I enjoy working with my patients and guiding them to better health. I feel strongly that education regarding their condition is important in achieving healthy outcomes.
