I try to listen carefully to patients to hear their impression of what is bringing them into my office. I like to get a sense of what activities are limited by the condition they are experiencing and what goals they have for treatment. I enjoy seeing pediatric patients. I spent my Hand Surgery Fellowship training with a pediatric hand surgeon who had a very interesting and challenging practice and so I am very comfortable treating many congenital hand conditions or traumatic injuries in children.

In addition to general gastroenterology, I have a special interest in colon cancer prevention, difficult polypectomy, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection and inflammatory bowel disease.

My practice covers all areas of gastroenterology including heartburn and reflux, abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, bloating, and colorectal cancer screening. I was inspired to go into medicine by my passion for helping others and the importance of health in people's lives. Outside of work, you can find me hanging out with my two Italian Greyhounds, reading, or planning my next trip to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
