Anne Pesenson, MD, FASN

I have always had a passion for helping people and wanting to make people feel better. I enjoy working with a variety of patients in both primary care and urgent care settings with an emphasis on preventive care, women�s health and mental health care. I have seven years of experience as an ICU nurse. It was during this time that I truly realized how important preventive care is. I knew that I wanted to do more to help patients achieve their best health.

I believe trust and communication are the most important aspects of the patient-doctor relationship. I will work with you and your loved ones to educate you about your condition, and together we'll develop a treatment plan that takes into account your goals. I enjoy working with patients to help restore health and function so they can lead an active lifestyle. I did further training in shoulder surgery and am trained in the latest techniques in minimally-invasive and shoulder replacement surgery.

In addition to general gastroenterology, I have a special interest in colon cancer prevention, difficult polypectomy, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection and inflammatory bowel disease.
