ACTI, a part of Koniag Development Corporation, manufactures composite aircraft parts, and has its facilities in Port Angeles, Wash. Established more than 10 years ago, it has delivered aircraft parts and assemblies to both domestic and international customers, including Boeing, Bombardier, Lear, BellHelicopter, and Aerostructures. Its state-of-the-art composites manufacturing facility covers more than 140,000-square-feet area, and includes over 11,000-square-feet of clean room space. It also includesmore than1,500-square-feet for a controlled-environment test laboratory, over 1,500-square-feet for raw material storage, and an additional 800-square-feet of inspection areas. ACTI has a test equipment laboratory, that is outfitted for physical and mechanical testing of composite materials and completed structures.
