Ate here this evening and was thoroughly impressed. The decor and atmosphere is very nice and soothing. The sushi bar is large and can seat maybe 10-12 persons. The ginger dressing is the best...

Kevin Chang is the owner and head chef of Zushi Japanese Bistro. Kevin is a hard working soul. In fact you will probably see him every time you come to his restaurant. His work is fast paced, and there is never a time when he can be caught standing still, yet he always has time to greet and talk with his customers about his art. Kevin has a simple philosophy about his art. Keep it looking fancy, and keep it affordable. Visited twice in 2025, solid 3.5 overall. Menu and food are "ok" -- not great, not bad either; drinks are good (no draft beer), service can be hit or miss. I enjoyed the side salad, spicy salmon...

It's been a while but not much has changed. Zushi is still the best sushi place in HR and it's not debatable.

The interior was beautiful and I loved the dining layout. No reservation but just had a short wait. The server was okay, the weird thing was she kept touching our chopsticks to move the plates...
