Located in Williamsburg, Va., Bruton High School was built in 1976, and is a fully accredited high school serving a diverse student population. The school s student body includes grades nine through 12 comprising of more than 550 students. It provides a wide range of academic courses, including English, language arts, laboratory science, world history and geography, American history and government, social science, mathematics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and health and physical education. It also offers computer science, foreign language, fine and practical arts and music classes. The school has a parent-teacher student association that sponsors various activities of the school. Bruton High School offers a variety of sports activities that include basketball, softball, wrestling, swimming, cross country and indoor track and field and also has a cheerleading squad.
