Sacred Heart of Mary Chapel, Marymount University

Marymount University was founded in 1950 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. It is a comprehensive, coeducational Catholic university, located in Arlington, Va. The university offers various graduate and undergraduate degree programs, as well as certificate options. It offers classes in accounting, biology, communications, English, theology and religious studies, history and graphic design. Its graduate programs include master s degress in computer science, software engineering, humanities, and literature and language. The college also offers certificate programs in Web design and English as a second language. Marymount University s more than 20-acre campus comprises classroom buildings and laboratories, including a computer lab and residence halls. It also houses a library, learning center, media center, auditorium and art gallery. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
