Lynchburg Fence and Railing Company LLC a locally owned company was founded in 1986 by Richard L. Stockdale, better know by his nickname Al Stockdale. Mr. Stockdale has been in the fencing business consistently for over thirty years. Our employees and subcontractors are all English speaking legal citizens of the United States. They are for the most part family men with wives and children. We pay above average wages to our people so they may support their families and provide them with the status of live that they deserve. Our people are all subject to drug and alcohol abuse testing. The officers, employees and subcontractor are all local residents that support local businesses and the community. We purchase as much equipment, vehicles, materials and inventory locally or with in the state of Virginia as possible. When we receive a request for an estimate, it is referred to our sales department. They follow up on it right away with a phone call to determine the exact needs of the customer. This prepares our staff with information so we can furnish the customer with the information they need to make their decision as to the type, style and configuration of their project. A personal appointment is then scheduled so that the necessary measurements and other information can be retained. This information is then used to make a itemized material list. That is sent to different suppliers to obtain the best quality material at the best price. The job is then discussed with our master craftsman and may require a personal visit to get their opinion on the job, before a price is arrived at.
