Rainbow Acres Farm

History

We started raising our own chickens for eggs, a handful of goats and a family milk cow in the Summer of 2009, a year after moving onto our 10-acres family farm. We slowly grew to raising pastured Broiler Chickens, and a few Thanksgiving Turkeys. We started raising a fewTamworth pigs in 2011, offering our first USDA, locally- processed pork in 2012. We bought an Angus bull in 2011 as well and started growing a small herd of 100% Grass-fed beef cows. Our first beef was offered for sale in 2015, and Rose Veal later that same year. We have done several local Farmers Markets since 2011, staying as close to home as possible to serve our neighbors.

Specialties

Rainbow Acres Farm supplies clean, nutrient-dense, very-locally-raised poultry, eggs, pork and beef/veal to our neighbors in Northern Virginia. We provide free delivery within 10 miles of the farm, covering most of the Bristow, Gainesville area.
