Heritage Repertory Theatre
Established in 1974, Heritage Repertory Theatre is a professional theatre that is a part of the Department of Drama of the University of Virginia. It produces a variety of musical shows and plays. The theater serves directors, designers, technicians and actors in the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County in Virginia. Heritage Repertory Theatre provides a range of performance and technical opportunities. Its productions include Damn Yankees, Lettice and Lovage, Ragtime, The Syringa Tree, Proof, Smokey Joe's Cafe, and Sweeney Todd. The theater offers various subscription options for local and national charity organizations, schools, and arts programs. Heritage Repertory Theatre maintains an alumni office.
