Lakeside Elementary School

Operational for more than 50 years, Lakeside Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It is located in Richmond, Va., and is a part of Henrico County Public Schools. The school s educational programs include instruction in reading, English, math, science, social studies, physical education, art and music. It also provides Title I and special education programs. Lakeside Elementary School maintains a library that houses a collection of over 5,000 books and study materials, as well as provides access to nearly 200,000 volumes through an interlibrary loan. The library additionally features approximately five computers with Internet access. The school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities for the social and personal development of students. Henrico County Public Schools maintains more than 60 educational campuses that serve over 48,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
