Kathryn Scott, PhD

Dr. Shajihan is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at CHKD with years of experience treating children with autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Shajihan received her medical degree from Calicut University in India and moved to the United States to pursue her dream of becoming a child psychiatrist. Dr. Shajihan completed her residency and fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she also served as chief resident in her third year of residency.

Dr. McDonald-Fix, a licensed psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst, currently serves as the clinical director of neurodevelopmental services at CHKD’s Children’s Pavilion. Prior to joining the team at CHKD, Dr. McDonald-Fix oversaw severe behavior treatment services at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorder in Columbus, Ohio, where she specialized in the combination of behavioral and mental health models of care for the whole family. In another previous position, Dr. McDonald-Fix worked in clinical research at the Institute for Autism Research at Canisius University in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Patricia Al-Adsani is a board-certfied child and adolescent psychiatrist at CHKD. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center and completed her residency and fellowship at Menninger Clinic.
