It's frustrating to me that the food was as good as it was given what the service wasn't. I will say that we had an above average size group, but it wasn't the largest one they served that night....

While visiting Luray and Shenandoah we had the chance to stop by Il Vesuvio for lunch/dinner. Ordered a ton of food so we had enough for lunch the next day. My favorite items were the mozz sticks,...

We got a calzone and an eggplant parmigiana. Food was decent - nothing to write home about and I wished I could have added some spices in myself in addition to cheese. Good for the price.

Interior is small but clean, can see it being a wait at dinner. We just stopped for takeout pizzas, no half toppings fyi. Bottled sodas, pasta looks great, clean bathrooms for patrons.
